This MG N Magnette Supercharger 1936 with chassis no NA0812 (Triple-M-Register no 14) was restored in the 80s by the well-known Peter Gregory using components of the MG K3 to racing condition.
Strong K-axles, 13-inch brakes, 4 speed pre-selector gearbox, supercharger and the race trimmed 6-cylinder engine gives this MG an enormous power (max-speed about 110 mph and about 150 hp).
Peter Gregory made a small series of aluminum N-blocks with 1489cc (bore: 64.9 mm / stroke: 75 mm).
Technical components: N-head aluminium, Pheonix crankshaft fully counter-balanced, Carillo rods and Cosworth forged pistons, 2 gallon K3 sump, SU HV8 carburettor, Scintilla-Vertex-Magneto ignition, Hydraulic brakes, Crown wheel & pinion 4.89:1 (9/44).
After the purchase from England in 2009 my mechanic put the MG into top condition both technical and visual. All necessary restoration was carried expertly and to the highest (Swiss) quality.
This MG has Swiss road registration with veteran entry as well as FIVA paperwork and also the original English V5C Registration Certificate from 12/2003 (Registration Mark: CWL5).
CWL5 was used by me in Switzerland and in Europe on the road and especially on mountain races and on circuit courses.
