F-type Magna, F0864, first registered in 1932 and originally fitted with a University Motors 4 seater body but came with 12” brakes from the factory. Acquired by myself in the early eighties as a rolling chassis and rebuilt as an F2 as the original body had apparently fallen off. The rebuild has been completed over many years with a significant stall whilst marriage, children and buying a house that needed rebuilding first took priority (familiar story). The car was finished and put back on the road about 8 years ago and been used regularly since, however it is now time for a change to something a little more modern and it sadly has to go. There is a large rebuild file with the car including most of the expenditure invoices. I won’t go into it all here but very willing to discuss all the detail by email or telephone if anyone is interested. Barry Foster did a lot of engine and gearbox work, and the new ash frame is by Enrique Linaires as examples of this. The car is finished in Dark Green with black leather, with all chrome work redone or replaced. This is not a concours car but is a very good presentable and usable example, and would not disgrace any owner at events. I would consider an MGA Roadster as part of a deal should anyone be interested. Price Offers around 49,500 GBP |
