This MG J2 Midget was built in 4/10/1932 and had blue paintwork, delivered in 22/10/1932. Sold by Messers. Ressleigh Ltd. to Colin D.C. Simpson who gained 3rd. place in the 1933 RSAC Rally and continued to compete throughout 1934 and 1935. Last record at 1946 Motor World (Scottish magazine) Rally. This MG J2 has had a full, body-off restoration in the period 2018-2020 and all details are correct, and is therefore in exceptionally good condition. During the full restoration of this pre-war MG, the 847 cc four-cylinder engine was completely rebuilt. This is a complete restoration, but we have tried to keep all the original parts as much as possible (seats, interiors, etc), as one of the reasons to buy it was its very original and complete condition. It was modified back to its original cycle wing configuration (the removed swept wings can be included with the car). It also has a complete work on the engine (machining cylinder head, valves, conversion to unleaded petrol, etc.), new radiator core, flywheel, distributor and all other parts obtained from UK specialized suppliers (Distributor Doctor, Vintage MG. Sports&Vintage Motors) with invoices available and complete set of images of the restoration process. This special classic car offers a fantastic driving experience and is ready to be enjoyed by a real enthusiast. The car is in Barcelona and I am willing to help with making shipping arrangements if necessary.
