| Stripped for engine work in the 1960 and then abandoned. I bought the car still in large pieces in 2005 and started a long term rebuild with preservation, not restoration, in mind. A car for the “Oily rag” enthusiast. New ash frame parts where needed with a new ply skin, then covered with the original steel skin that has mostly the original 1932 paint. All panels and wings rustproofed and treated to prolong their life. The engine has a new counterbalanced crank and rods, valves, guides, and springs etc, and a lightened and balanced flywheel and clutch. It initially had the original three speed box but it’s now running a four speed which is a huge improvement. Great fun to drive. Buff log book and last tax disc from 1960 with extensive history from 1939 to 1959. Price 17,950 GBP or near offer |
