I think so, but haven't seen anything from the vscc yet

Excellent. I'll go ahead and book a B&B.
I wasn't keen on driving all the way "darn sarf" if there weren't any MGs entered

Mark,
Must have posted the same time as you.
I did of course mean that it was excellent that MGs had entered not that
your entry hadn't been accepted

See you there....

I keep fingers crossed for your application Mark. Is there anyone at the vscc that you can check with? Maybe it's a system error on their application system?

We've entered the C Type as a dual entry, Emma and I, so fingers crossed for at least one entry ! (rather hoping that as the little car is on the advert for the event that we will not then be rejected )

Room in pub already booked, so we will be there regardless !

I phoned VSCC yesterday, sounds like circa 130 entrants for max. of 110 places ! They are working on the entry list y'day/today so it will be Fri or Sat post before we know...

We had a good number of MGs last year, hoping the same this year...

From past experience 'it's never over til it's over'.

There is an absolute limit on cars competing but the 110 limit comes from the paddock capacity. In theory that means that double entries have a slight advantage because they only take one paddock garage but yield two entry fees!

But that isn't the only criterion. Priority is given those who have competed in other rounds of the speed championship and then to those who have supported oth VSCC events. And, of course, they try to maximise the variety. It's a complex calculation but they tweet very seriously.

Fingers crossed for us all. I've sent a double entry for Annie and I

See you there, Horatio!
