In this month's 'Safety Fast' I was interested to see Colin Murrell's excellent photo of Dave Cooksey cornering hard at Castle Combe.

N/S rear tyre is working pretty hard - the distortion of the carcass is quite clear and probably not the contact patch that the manufacturers intended. Amazing we get round corners at all!

I'd be interested to hear from Dave what tyres were fitted and what pressure he runs them at for racing.

Tyres and suspension are a particular area of professional interest for me - how sad!

Blockley 400/19. Normally 36 front 38 rear

I run 500 x 19 Blockley, 38 all round (road use as well)

400x19 and 500x19, and mine 450x19 - but what rim widths should they be on?
