I'm refurbishing a set of J2 bonnet catches at the moment and wonder if anyone can help me with a tiny component. At the base of the sprung part is a 'banana' shaped bracket that fits the catch to the mounting bracket. Does anyone have a scrap catch they might be able to salvage one of these brackets from, perhaps. If I can get one as a pattern, I shall be sorted.

perhaps I haven't seen too many banana's in my time so I'm still confused to what you are after ... I could find 5 potential banana's in the picture!
So why don't you use one of your existing catches to replicate?

Chris - it's the 'link' below the part marked 'fine knurl' held on by the 2 rivets. The set I have all lack the original components and are far too 'straight' and don't give the right throw. I guess I could perhaps work it out, but an original to copy would be much easier! With a pattern, I can get them cut accurately..
