One Two of the entrants for the 2016 Ulster touring event needs somewhere to store a K-type-sized trailer near Liverpool. Does anyone have any info about possibilities please? TIA

Edit: Sorry, that's space for two K-sized trailers and two tow cars that is needed!

Dick,

Lest anyone thinks that they've missed out, entries for the Ulster Triple-M Tour haven't opened yet so we don't have any 'entrants' as such. The intention is to open entries in early January once our budget is finalised (hint, hint!) and we can set the entry fee. But we have got ourselves a nice logo

Simon, Would the ferry operators not provide secure storage for trailers and towing cars? Not that it will affect me of course !

I've no idea, Colin, but it's certainly worth asking. I'll get in touch with my contact at Stenaline and see what he says.

I've been in touch with Stena and they say they can probably provide parking space at Birkenhead/Liverpool. So I'll include this as an option on the entry form and assuming there aren't too many requests we should be able to sort something out. The other Stena ports - Cairnryan, Holyhead and Fishguard - all have inexpensive long term parking facilities. And when I say inexpensive, we're talking of £5-7 a day. Not sure if this rate applies to a car and trailer but even at twice the price it's cheaper than the extra cost of a trailer each way on the ferry.
