I have just received from John Innes (thanks John) copies of the factory files for my car, J2844, and on the ticket from the service dept. to the sales dept. it shows the colour as being "Old Ivory-Light Fawn". Would this be a standard combination or one of the buyer specified colours which ,I believe, could be specified.

Ian,

You will find the standard colours for the J2 listed here - http://www.triple-mregister.org/OctagonHeaven/Articles/006.pdf

You can also buy a delightful reproduction of the J2 sales brochure from the Triple-M Library here - http://www.triple-mshop.org/products-page/pamphlets-charts-instructions/

Ian,

There's a wealth of information both in the Forum and amongst the many documents available to download from the home page such as the Bulletin, the Year Book and of course the various technical documents.

Enjoy!
