Phil Bayne-Powell and I have been recently approached by Roger Martin (a staunch MGCC Member who seems to own one of almost every M.G. Model ever made) about an F Type engine which he acquired sometime around 1968. He approached me at the time and I passed the enquiry over to Phil who was looking after MMM Spares at the time, and he also lived not too far away from where the engine was being kept Neither Phil nor I can remember anything more about the matter and Roger is currently making enquiries as to what happened and where the engine ended up.
I am sure that Roger does not want it back but is just interested to know how the story ended. Does anyone remember buying an F Type engine from the Register Spares Department in the late 60s ?
