At present we have 10 cars-worth or 'yesses' and another 7 cars-worths of 'maybes'
The target is ~50 cars! Are there any more who would like to register a possible interest? (No commitment at this stage of course!)

Update:
Charlie Cartwright, Ian Goddard and I (and spouses) are spending a couple of days in Cornwall this week to reccy the area and talk terms with the Tregenna Castle Hotel at St Ives - the proposed venue for our planned 2017 touring event.
If you have not yet recorded an interest in taking part in the event, which is scheduled for the first week in October 2017, it would be helpful to hear from you at this stage - no commitment yet!
As before a 'yes', 'no' or 'maybe' would be appreciated.

My wife and I would also come to this in our J2.
West Cornwall is a great place for a motoring Tour.
I'd also be glad to help, as I only live 30 miles from the area.
Just let me know if there is anything I can do.

I thought this might be a good time to give an update on the plans for next year's Register touring event of West Cornwall.
As a reminder, we will be based at the Tregenna Castle Hotel, St Ives and the three-day event will start on 3 October, with touring on 4th and 5th and concluding on the 6th.
At present, with 12 months to go, we have expressions of interest from 50 entrants, which is very encouraging!
Accommodation and catering terms have been agreed with the hotel.
Charlie Cartwright, Ian Goddard and I did a recce of the area 5 months ago and Charlie is continuing to devise routes and make plans for the two touring days.
We hope to finalise the costings for the event quite shortly and at that stage we will contact all interested parties with a full outline of the event and the associated costs.
So in answer to those who have enquired whether the event is still "on", the answer is a resounding "yes".
If you have not yet recorded your interest in taking part, now would be a good time to do so!
