Found this photo from a few years ago which I rather like.
Taken at an Ashburton (N.Z.) VCC event in 2012.
The new young sports car driver brought his car over and parked beside mine. His parents later tracked him down and had a good a laugh.
Good to see ongoing interest from the new generation.

And it works, here's me in 1963, and look how similar my MG is!

It's grandkids that seem to take up the interest in our cars, not so much our kids. My son has a mile interest, owns an MGB, but it's my granddaughter that wouldn't miss an event. The photo below was taken at the GOF Central and Triple-M National event last year at Indianapolis.

Thanks Tony and Lew, great shots and good to hear.
My daughter seemed captivated when she was small, interests have changed since. Photo of her in my car aged about 2-1/2 in 1999. She is now 18.
I notice 2 badges on my dash, so had been to only 2 Pre-56 MG Rallies when photo taken. Have now been to 6 of this bi-annual event. Of these, my daughter joined me on 2. I tried.
Regards.

Hi All
Lew you maybe right though my daughter has an MGB GT that she loves but lives in my workshop as she lives with no garage in London.

1972 Me before BKR 510 rebuild

2015 Toby in my brother's TC at my niece's wedding.

It is in the blood, one of my sons is a petrol-head but avoids MG at the moment.

Strange isn't it, my sons are not really bothered with "vintage iron" but have mild interest in 60's/70's MG midgets and B's, but grandson, loves "Gangan's" old MG!

picture quality not too good on this one, but he askes every time he comes over to drive the "Pea"!

Loved the pictures,

is it only me that wonders what will happen to these lovely cars when my generation disappears?
Photo of two of my Grand children in a J2. They love it!

Thanks,
Graham

Thanks everyone, great shots of cars and followers and admirers. Those early memories certainly do seem to stick.
Tony I wonder if the late David Bowie had one of these pedal cars too. Appears he took the lightening bolt part for the album cover of Alladin Sane.
Richard, your shot of you in PA MG 3880 from 1947 also shows I notice a great shot of a lovely original PA dashboard. Complete with the early type grab handle discussed in an other forum topic.

Worked for me, attached is me in my car at the wheel in 1964 age 4. Same car, same colour, just the car seems to have got quite a bit younger, and the owner quite a bit older since then.
We may have stumbled across another answer to a much debated question also. Q. What is the correct original colour for your MG? A. Depends on what your first experience was in an MG or similar sports car.
Regards

The next generation here in Australia having a crack on the racetrack at our recent PreWar rally.
There were several families with 3 generations represented at the rally.

Richard's dash yes, beautifully original, but notice an original habit of the day; the ash tray just left of the horn button!

How about this lot, surely one would love to have my car?

Molly, in the glasses came with us to Prescott a couple of years ago, and wants to come again but it seems to fall within their family holiday.

It's a safe bet that little Greg will be a MMM man in a few years time. It's so good to see the 3 generations of the Maathuis family at MG events. Greg's older brother Gean and sister Goya no doubt will be in MGs to. (Photo at last years MGCC Luxembourg Ardennen Meeting, courtesy of MGCC Luxembourg )

What a fantastic way to be brought up!
