I will shut down the Forum Thursday evening to migrate the old data to the new database. Hopefully if all goes well, the forum will be back up on Friday.

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0009'

Subscript out of range: '[number: 0]'

As you can see I was able to edit your post above. Which post were you trying to edit? What precisely was the edit so that I can try and reproduce the error.

If you try to edit a post outside the 30 minute window allowed you get this message.

It was the one titles 'stupid question'.

I am pretty certain I was trying to edit within 5 mins of posting, since a bit of elaboration was missing.

OK, It is clearly something to do with the edit time limit. I will look into it.

I think I have fixed that bug. It was caused by the subtle difference between nothing and null. Works OK in Access (which is less fussy about such things) but not in MySQL.
Please let me know if that bug is fixed.
