I am booked on the Ireland MMM trip in June in my D type and have just discovered while renovating the steering box, that the spline has worn badly on the steering column worm gear and possibly the coupling also.
Does anyone have a good S/H one they can help me out with?
I may have. Worm and wheel somewhere, I will have a look if you like, not sure of the condition. I do have a complete steering column and box for an F type.
I have been fortunate to get one from Ted Hack which I am sure will solve my problem. So thanks John for replying and anyone else looking on my behalf.
