Found this in a box of spares I recently bought.
Anyone seen one before ?
Are the four holes for 6 volt / 12volt ?
Regards
Ged

This is a Voxson Tanga of which there appear to be two versions- AM andf FM- I think yours is the AM one. There is info about it here if you can read Italian:
http://www.grix.it/viewer.php?page=8057

The circuit diagram is here:
http://www.rsp-italy.it/Electronics/Radio%20Schematics/Voxson/_contents/Voxson%20Tanga.pdf
The bit you have is the left-hand block, the right-hand bit with the audio amplifier was in the base it plugs into.

The four holes are for the aerial, output to the amplifier and power in but no details are given on which is which. It needs an external amplifier to drive a speaker.
The radio probably dates from early to mid 1970s.

Many thanks for the info Bob.
I'll pass the 70's radio on to an MGB owner I know.

It is the AM version given the tuning frequency span. A very simple set indeed. Probably not original equipment!
