I met a chap called Don yesterday at a classic car event, who owned a J2, registration number JB 659 in the early 1950s
Would someone please let me know if this MG has survived.

JB 659 does not appear in the Register listing but that does not mean it does not survive.

Here it is at Ballybannon in June 1933 driven by Victor Ferguson

The car is alive and well with a Ford engine and I tried very hard to get it to Ulster next week but the owner didn't really seem to be interested. A shame, really, as the other car thought to be driven by Ferguson in 1931 - C0263 - will be with us.
