I'm starting an order at Guest Gear for a batch of 9/44 spiral crown wheel and pinion for K(N)-Type. For Nigel it doesn't matter weather you need the short (2 bearing) or the long (3 bearing) 190mm pinion. If you are interested to join the batch, please precise which one you need. Prices for one off started at 1200£ ex vat and there are already 3 interested, which decrease the price to 900£ ex vat. Of course this amount may be even lower, the more people join.

Guy, Were the K and N c.w.ps exactly the same size ? I thought that the K was slightly larger in addition to having the less common ratio of 9:44. The N is identical to the P and was available in three different ratios, 8:39, 8:41 and 8:43 in the case of the N and 8:41, 8:43 and 8:47 in the case of the P. If anyone buys one of yours for an N, it might not squeeze into the N Type axle casing. I have never owned a K and therefore I might be entirely wrong !

No the K-Type axle is different to all the other MMM axles. The N-type has an ordinary MMM-diff, MMM-halfshafts,... . By K(N), I meant the long pinion for K3 or KN.

Yes, the N-type has got the ordinary MMM-diff, ordinary thickness of MMM-halfshafts... By K(N), I meant this batch is for K1, K2, K3 or KN. Although, the non-blown cars prefer a 9/52 ratio.
