Actually it wouldn't take much to convert back to RHD as it's using an Adamant steering box...

If it is F 1275, (I can't see the number on the ad), it is unknown to the Register, which at least adds a bit of interest!

What have they done to the poor old thing! At least most of what's left of the inside looks original. Think the steering wheel is ex VW Beetle. Simon C. |

It is no great issue to convert this car back to right hand drive. nobody seems to raise comments to such degree when an alien engine has been fitted, which is a far greater challenge to turn back to original spec, especially if you have to find the engine. Here, at least most of the parts are still there. I don't see the issue as the car needs complete restoration anyway!
A local friend of mine was actually contemplating purchasing the car last week but having looked into shipping costs and potential import duty, it doesn't really stack up. I guess it won't be coming back to the UK at this price sadly
