In the last full VSCC Race event of the season at Mallory Park on Saturday, Duncan Potter won the outright 2016 Owner, Driver, Mechanic Championship in the C Type. The series is for Set 3 Standard and Modified Sports Cars, racing at all VSCC meetings. A wonderful achievement and the first time MG has won the award.
Harry Painter also won the first race of the day in the Kayne Special, a great day for MG.
Great effort all round, one race left this season at Castle Combe Classic, I know a few of the guys will be out in the sports car race.

What a wonderful achievement by both drivers and superb publicity for our Triple-M cars.
Well done.

I'm sure someone said that Duncan should have to mount that on the front of the car to slow him down, but I can't remember who !!! :)

Proof (if proof were needed) that Duncan is indeed owner driver mechanic. Seen here on the Ulster Tour having breakfast while repairing his supercharger.

Greetings everyone.... Just wanted to say 'thank you' for the congrats on the forum, very kind.... It's been great fun in the little car this season and, I have to say, very satisfying seeing MG beat Frazer Nash and Riley to the ODM title. They will have to try harder next year !!! (actually, so will I to have any chance of retaining the thing !) Perhaps we have even persuaded a few VSCC people towards the Mighty Midgets (and Magna/Magnettes of course)..
The racing has of course been tremendous fun, but as much has been the great camaraderie we have within the MMM racing gang. I look forward to the beers, BBQ and banter as much as the racing !
Next stop Goodwood sprint......
