Yes Charlie, we are all out here waiting, with pens and cheque books poised and knees all atremble. I am told that Cornwall in the first week in October can almost guarantee to be free of rain.

To Colin and all those out there who are atremble - Charlie Cartwright and Ian Goddard are working hard and doing a great job in the planning and organising of this event. An event update will be issued VERY shortly to everyone who has expressed interest in entering for it.

In the meantime we can advise that one extra day has been added into the event programme, which will now include not just two but three days of touring! (This is at the request of many of you who have expressed interest in taking part.)

The event dates are: Arrive Tuesday afternoon 3 October; tour on Wednesday 4, Thursday 5 and Friday 6 October; event concludes on morning of Saturday 7 October.

Hello Colin. I've put some details of the routes on the event website; www.kernow-wheals.com/
Its subject to MSA approval and were going to include some short cuts for when the navigators start getting fed up.
All the best Charlie.
PS were planning to go to Blue Hills but up and down the easier way.

I recommended the Tregenna Castle hotel because its on it's own secure campus with plenty of parking room for the cars and trailers. AND they have plenty of rooms even if a tad expensive. They have their own golf course if anyone fancies a swing or two. Fantastic views from the terrace.

I emailed Ian this morning with my booking, but it bounced back with the following message:
