Hello all my name is Hilario Garcia, although I generally go by H.

I have recently acquired J2 3733, and joined the MGCC. I am not totally new to the world of MG's also owning a 1974 MGB (running but a few issues), and a 1953 TD (undergoing a full restoration), but definitely new to the pre-war MMM world. The car that I acquired is in fantastic shape, but has a minor issue here & there. I will continue to do my best to search the forum archive for answers to questions, but would greatly appreciate any advice you may have for a first time MMM owner.

I will add that I have downloaded the manual available on this site, as well as ordered the official M-TF service manual, plus some additional books on the J Type midget to make sure I'm prepared for any potential upcoming issues.

Thanks in advance for any responses you might have.

Hello H and welcome to the fraternity, the Club and this Forum.

We have received your car's register update data via our online facility - many thanks for that - and our sub-registrar John Emmett is almost certain to be in touch with you soon to exchange other info about the car - and yes, it looks very nice indeed!

And, of course, I encourage you to join the North American Triple-M Register. I have sent a private email detailing the NAMMMR and how to join.

And a welcome from me also, you will find this web site is filled with information on our lovely ohc cars.

You may not be aware that we have a Yearbook and a bi-monthly Bulletin, the subscription form can be downloaded from this web site.

I am sure you will enjoy the J2 which looks to be in very good order.
