You need to keep chivviying (very politely) him and on a regular basis to get the horn you want, but it is worth while.

I have a spare Laxon KM4 horn - sort of Knight's visor on the front - 4" diameter is that what you are after?

My understanding, from Taff, is that Klaxon made a very similar horn for Desmo which had slightly different openings. Thanks Terry and Simon, the two horns I have are a later altette and a trumpet type klaxon which I suspect both came off the later Cottinghams J4129, most of the best condition parts come from this car.
