Hello all, Item of interest perhaps... Some time ago I was able to find a original large Midge mascot. The mascot sold as original arrived with a broken proboscis. Appears a poor attempt at repair had been made though the vendor assured me it had not been touched since he owned it for 40 years. Well, originals are hard to come by so I was able to source a metalsmith who came well recommended. About one year later here was the result as sent back prior to plating... Now the nose is not broken but the eye is full of silver solder, details obscured, angle wrong... I sent it back to be "fixed" again...Not sure they can do the job.
Kindly,
