I am wondering if anyone, by chance , has a p type transmission first motion shaft lying around ?? If not, does anyone have a lead on someone who is making them ??

I guess a UK gearbox = a USA transmission (), so are you wanting item 19 in the section drawing below?

Maybe it's a translation thing again, but I would have thought a first motion shaft is item #1 in the diagram above. I would consider item #19 a third motion shaft.

How right you are..................please excuse me, but my engineering experience was with automatic 'transmissions' from GM Hydramatic.
Diagram below identifies UK nomenclature: i.e. input shaft (from engine/clutch) = first motion shaft.

Boy - now I'm confused ! I believe that Lew is correct and originally, I was wrong . I am looking for #1.
I guess now would be a good time to say I am also looking for a bell housing ! Any translation issues ??
