Talking to an ex-colleague in the pub recently he recalled the J2 he owned in the 1960s. It was reg number JI 5690, and the Register shows this as chassis number J2201, but with no owner known since 1988. DVLA still list it, but tax expired in 1992. Interesting, the engine capacity is shown as 936ccc - perhaps Ford 8?
Does anyone have any further knowledge of this car? It is not likely to have been scrapped in 1992, surely.
