Two pictures from 1960, and a short article by the owner at the time, appeared in our local paper recently. Has the car survived?

I am afraid the Registration number JB 2752 does not appear in the Register records.

JB 2305 was the Registration Number of K2004. If at all possible I would like to see a copy of the article or perhaps you can tell me where and when it was published.

I am a bit confused. I thought we were looking for JB2752. How does JB2305 come into the discussion? The newspaper article is also very interesting - especially about the K3s being fitted with Shorrock superchargers. I learn something new every day !

I have no idea why I mentioned JB 2305. Back to JB 2752, the factory files do not mention this Registration Number as being an original number for a K2. The only car listed without its original Registration Number shown is K2015 so perhaps it is that car. We do however know that K2015 is currently registered with number OPD 293.

A friend with a J2 sent me a copy of the same article from their local paper in Exmouth, so the piece must be doing the rounds.
However, looking again at the picture of the front of the car it looks to have two registration numbers! JB 2752 painted on the shroud, and JB 27 4 2 on the number plate!
Any comments on that number?
