A Special train set.

Peshawar to Landi Kotel up and through The Khyber Pass
on the pull and push switch back system. 1971.

Been there, Done that.
A truly remarkable piece of (British) engineering. From the top of the pass the view over the plain of Afghanistan and on to Kabul is amazing.
This railway crosses the main runway at Peshawar airport. Roumour has it the trains have right of way!!!
