1930 MG M-Type, Chassis 2M 1488, 'Double Twelve' specification, is for auction at Bonhams Beaulieu on September 8th 2007. (Full description on www.bonhams.com)

Only just spotted your Forum entry.

2M 1488 is NOT an original 12/12 and I have been trying to get in touch with the chap at Bonhams who is dealing with the Beaulieu auction. The car was owned years back by John Adams (J 4003) and when I contacted him he confirmed that it was an ordinary M Type with a home-made body. He has told Bonhams this.
