How nice to have a hobby that does not take you out into a freezing garage.

From the date stamp of 21 12 09 that is quite a recent stamp - I wonder if it was a part of a series depicting cars?

Mmmmm - that could be Foz chasing the Bugatti?

I am not into collecting stamps - but by chance I came across this stamp whilst queueing in the post office. On that day the post people were promoting stamp collections and they had all sorts of special stamps on offer - however only this one was of special interest to me - what else? Believe me I rubbed my eyes a few times as I couldn´t believe seeing Barry´s C-Type on a stamp..... The setting is indeed the Nürburging, Oldtimer Grand Prix with the many bends of the Nürburgring and the castle of Nürburg in the background. This stamp was available in 2012 - the 85 refers to it´s (immense) value - 85 Cent rather than the 1985 Oldtimer Grand Prix...just to set the record straight. Needless to say this stamp is framed on one of my walls -;)Tony, you have found a rare item...

I was pretty certain it was Foz in the Rat. My stamp would be worth millions if it hasn't been torn in half by person's unknown, and glued back together!

Tony, Foz and Cat.
Steffi has found some in Germany and has just ordered some.
We will have them at Brands in April and they have your name on them. Consider it a little Thankyou from us to the three of you!

We have ordered a couple of extra' s and they will be available at Brands if anyone is interested in them :)

Lawks, was it really 6 years ago that the item appeared in SF!? I still have the stamp that Christian kindly sent to me pinned on my 'to do' board at home!

I'm having a little trouble bidding from the US on the ebay auction. If someone has a spare, I would be happy to pay for the item and to have it shipped to me. You may reach me through the email in my profile.
Thanks.
