Driving back from silverstone this weekend my magneto broke and I'm racing at brands hatch this weekend coming.
In need of a quick solution I bought a 123 electronic distributor for a quick fix.

I've installed it and got the car running with ease but I now have a big pinking issue, the car runs fine stationary but under load it pinks really bad and I've adjusted the timing from retarded to advance and everything in between and it's still doing it.

Any suggestion / help would be great as I only have two evenings to get it sorted ?

Chris . Have you had a word with 123 Distributors about the problem ?. Suggest you check they have supplied you with the correct distributor .

Not to be obvious, but you are sure that the distributor rotation is correct for the car?
