Does anyone re-manufacture gear sets for the 3 speed M Type Gearbox?
We have the box apart at the moment and the gears are fairly worn (but still usable) just looking at options while its apart |

Hi Matt,
No, I have never heard of anyone remaking the gears, though I believe someone on here did remake a couple of first motion shafts. Given that the M and Morris Minor gearboxes are identical, spares are reasonably plentiful so there is no great demand for bits. There is currently a complete minor box on eBay.

Unfortunately the seller doesn't ship to Australia, and even if so, with the cost of shipping it would be a risk without knowing if the gears in the box were in better condition than my current ones. I've been looking for a Minor box here but with no luck, that's why I was hoping there may be some remanufactured gears available
