I am needing to quickly locate a pair of 1 inch carbs, preferably with a J type manifold. Is there anyone out there who may be able to help out.

This is purely a personal favour to a fellow enthusiast and not a trade arrangement (as I don't really get involved in secondhand parts) but we need to find a pair within 2 to 3 weeks if anyone thinks they may have a spare pair lurking under their bench and doing nothing

Richard. There is a pair advertised in the current VSCC Newsletter. No manifold and appear to be in ‘as found ‘ condition . £350 .
Vendor is Steve Hughes , 01380 850779.

I may have a pair of carbs for you, in the back of my fathers garage.
Peter Swift thinks that they are from a J2. I will send some pics later on today

Thank you to everyone who responded to me. I was presented with several options and I collected a pair of original unmolested carbs today and in good serviceable order. What's more, they were only 4 miles from my daytime place of work, thanks to Tim Walker
