As an antidote to the some of us who may feel rather overawed by pictures of the garages of our fellow members from the other side of the waters (Atlantic and English Channel)here is my "workshop". So, I really must have a sort out now with a bit more time available being "confined to barracks". Ah well, dream on! Simon C.

Looks pretty good to me Simon . What’s more you’ll never be able to find anything if you tidy up !. |

Hi John,
There's parts of my Tiger in there (http://www.n5490.org/), but most of it is in the house - see below. The fuel tank is from my 1929 Gipsy Moth, but the wooden fuselage you can see is my DH82 Queen Bee - the sole original survivor. See http://www.n5490.org/V4760/History/History.html/url].
Any and all help, spares, etc. gratefully received.
The cars are - l to r - the sloe 1933 Maddox bodied Minor FHC, 1930 Minor fabric saloon (actually fitted with a 1930 Wolseley Hornet body from new), 1933 McEvoy Minor. The Maddox is booked in to Pre-War Prescott 2021 and will be shipped to the UK later this year, to new owner-to-be Paul Maddox, grandson of Archie.

Ian, now THATS what I call a garage, lots of fun there! Your DH calls to mind many years ago when working in Ireland I was talking to the engineer of the mill I was visiting and he showed me their pre WW1 Bleriot monoplane dismantled and stuck in the roof structure probably minus its rotary engine. Wonder where that went. Simon C. |

We have our younger daughter and her young son living with us during the current lockdown so a good opportunity to put the wee lad to work . They’re never too young to start.

Having got the brake shoes cleaned, young Noah was put to work bolting the prop shaft to the newly installed diff.

He quickly grasped how to use a spanner and tightened them all up although I think I’d be wise to recheck the tightness ![](images/icon_smile_big.gif)
