Sold through Victor's to a Mr G.A. Beattie of South Belfast and first registered on 21 May, 1932. Originally green with green upholstery it apparently had some trials history. Could be a nice buy.

I have spoken to Mathew Parkin at Brightwells about the quoted chassis number 1271.

The correct chassis number is F1199, the number 1271 is a typo and relates to the cubic capacity of the engine.

Apart from the missing cylinder head the car looks to be very correct and original.

Sounds like a great price !
Not sure who won it but I have a spare F type cylinder head if the winner needs one.
Stay safe,
Dan

Adrian, thanks for the picture. I have been unable to access the Brightwells pictures.

Is there a detailed rear view of the windscreen?

Hi Adrian
Fantastic, - Well done on your new acquisition, I will amend the record to show you are the proud new owner.
The car looks very original and just needs re-commissioning after a cylinder head is fitted. I note Dan in the USA posterd he has a spare one.

Great it has gone to a really good home. My intention was to save it also and hopefully prevent it from losing its body to another 2 seater

If you need a head then I located two, one of which is here in the UK. Email me privately Adrian if you need more info.
