My J2 is at last ready for painting. I have obtained one quotation which made my hair stand on end (takes some doing with current lockdown hair length)!

Has anyone had a good experience with a bodyshop in the general Cotswolds area that they could recommend? Please send a personal email if you would prefer

Thanks

Finishing Touch is in the north of Somerset and owned and run by fellow triple M owner/racer Adrian Moore.
Only seen fantastic work from him

I second Onno's comments.

Adrian painted my J2 and PB.

I was going to suggest Adrian at Finishing Touch, but it looks like you are already on it :)

Thank you to all those who recommended Adrian Moore at Finishing Touch. I picked up the finished article from him yesterday and the result is superb. Adrian couldn't have been more helpful. He even took me for a blast in his F Type.

PS. Ray - you might recognise Robin Gordon's C-Type trailer. I'm afraid I still haven't got round to painting it.

Yes , Nigel, l do recognise the trailer. Robin would be pleased that it is carrying an MG again. The paint job looks great . Just a weekends job screwing all the bits onto it now !.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing the supercharged J2 sometime .
Regards to yourself and Sue.

Nigel your J2 looks great. Can you share the paint color you used? I may steal it for my PA.
Thanks

Hi Orvid

The colour is Isuzu "Ranger Green 880" which Adrian found. To my mind this is a perfect British Racing Green.

Dr K,
Does this help - some pointers to research some more up-to-date paint colour specs.:
