Parts Sold.
How do I edit a current post, covering multiple items, to show that something has been sold from the list?

Go to your post, click on edit, add your text to say sold or other.
Then preview changes, or just save by selecting Post Changes.

I think you will only find it works under parts for sale.

Posts under other headings are editable at first but become un-editable after 30 minutes from posting. (I think.)

David, you could ask Nick to move the thread to Parts for Sale.

Nigel is correct, Parts for Sale is editable but most of the other forums can only be edited by the original author for 30 minutes. If you need an edit and are unable, send me an email and I will edit it for you

Thanks all for your helpful comments and I now have better understanding of how the system works. Thanks particularly to Nick, who had already done the “heavy lifting” for me by moving stuff about.

Regards all
