My Daughter Sarah is having a bit of a clear out and has found the what I am certain is the original brass guarantee plate For 2M1027! It would be great to be able to re-unite the plate with the car.
The Register shows that Roger Glister from Ilkley, Yorkshire is the current owner. I have telephoned the number shown on the record and left a message, hopefully it is still the correct number.
Roger used his M as a hillclimb car until he turned it over at Harewood quite some years ago- injuring his arm, I think We have not heard from him or his car since

I am delighted to say that Roger has been in touch this morning and that he still has the M type which is currently going through a slow rebuild.
Needless to say the M type was missing the original Guarantee plate, what a great pleasure it is to be able re-unite car and plate after all these years.
