Barry I received your e-mail this morning and replied as follows:
"Hi Barry, and thanks for the e-mail.
Offer accepted! I'm happy for you to write the piece on any basis you're happy with!
I don't know how long it would take to get the text and pics to me, but FYI the closing date for the June edition of Safety Fast is Tuesday 6th May.
If any material could be e-mailed to me that would be preferable (maybe the pics would need to be sent in a series of e-mails).
If snail mail is unavoidable, my address is:

The e-mail failed and I got the following message:
"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. Thanks for your continued support. (state 14)
So I sent another one through the Register website and this too failed, with the following message:
"Unknown user: www.bahnisch@iweb.net.au" target="_blank">www.bahnisch@iweb.net.au
RCPT TO generated following response:
501 #5.1.1 bad address www.bahnisch@iweb.net.au" target="_blank">www.bahnisch@iweb.net.au"
I don't know what all this means, but though I would feed it back to you.

| Dick, Many thanks for your messages and prompt reply! Mystery why the eamils did not go through, addresses were correct. Am in the throes of going over to broadband but still have my old dial-up which I am using now. The pics are on a CD which I will mail tomorrow, might still make the June deadline, and will email a summary. All the best. Barry Bahnisch M2737, F1317. |
