Hello there,

Looking for a die 7/32 BSF 28 tpi. If not, 6 Studs with that size are welcome.
Total length about 20 cm. Try to repair a Lucas Altette horn. I still have the 6 chromed domed nuts.
Suggestions?
Thanks for all your info.

Hi Pim, try these guys, I always get my taps and dies from them.
Post out to Luxembourg no problem, so I would guess the same for you in Holland.

Hi Pim,
I donīt think there is any BSF Type thread an a Altette horn,
LUCAS used BA threads on eletrical components.
What you are looking for is a BA 1.
here you can check all types of threads,

Pim,
Worth having a look at this article on overhauling Altette horns. Both 1BA and 0BA threads appear to be used, but probably depends on the model.

Hi Pim
Before you settle on the BA thread you might want to check the "Taff the Horns" website. There is a hand drawn sketch (quite hard to read) that gives the threads used for the various models. The BA threads suggested would seem to be for the newer horns but for for the MMM horns it suggests 1/4"BSF/BSCY (Cycle thread - 26 tpi but 60 deg thread angle). Hope this helps.
Regards
Keith
