This was just sent to me - plenty of "our cars" - a Vintage MG of some sorts (not sure of the model?) in some difficulty at 1 min 25 sec onwards!

Enjoy

Wonderful film, and a lot of registration numbers found. Notice the Marendaz with the big exhaust pipes near the end with Mrs A. E. Moss (Stirling's Mum!)driving!

Chris - This is an exciting find for enthusiasts of the pre-war Morris Minor. No less than three featured here and all seen coping well with the conditions. Thank you!

It is surprising how much is on that site. Whilst on the subject of Minors...

Get yourself a VPN, Cat.

Id have to say that my favourite bit of the Morris Minor manufacture is the rolling chassis, complete with engine and gearbox, getting sprayed. No shiny exposed nuts and bolts left after that!

Superb film, Kevin, thank you.
( And thanks also Chris ):

Did they really indiscriminately spray the chassis complete with engine and gearbox, axles and firewall when the assemblage was upside down ?
Also surprised to see an attempt to fit the crankshaft with the flywheel already apparently fitted !

Generally, a very interesting piece of film which I thoroughly enjoyed during one of my wide awake periods in the middle of the night !

Really fascinating, not much 'elf and safety there, I loved the clothes as well, some in suits and waistcoats, others in sports jacket and slacks and very few in overalls, most had hats from flat caps to hombergs. No face coverings, Matt Hancock would have a fit.
I thought at first they must be very early cars with artillery wheels, but they were only slave wheels, WM never wasted anything.

Yes, like Cat I can't view those "free films" either. The black screen comes up OK with arrow thing in the centre but clicking on it nothing happens at all. Pity. Simon C.

Simon,

That could be a Browser issue - I found these clips didn't work with Internet Explorer - fine with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge though (& others, no doubt..).

US viewing, as well, is blocked. Apparently they've restricted viewing to just those paying the television license.

Lew,
There is no way for the British Film Institute to know who is paying their TV licence. They simply say that the film cannot be viewed outside the U.K. and use your IP address to determine this. This is what you get if you try to access it from a US IP address.

Chris,
Internet Explorer? How quaint

and carrying on in this vein, plenty of MG action here...

Apologies if it is already a well known film. Pencil and paper ready to jot down the registration numbers...
