I have just returened from a week's holiday in Holland. Just after leaving the ferry, in the Hook, I spied this car at a filling station. http://www.flickr.com/photos/84211147@N00/2538725005/ He had just left the same ferry but as he was in a hurry I only had time for a brief converstaion with his passenger. I asked her if they would be at Silverstone in June but she had no knowledge of the event. I believe that the driver was Canadian and his passenger Australian.
Is it a K3?

According to my copy of last year's Triple-M register, it is a K1 Magnette but, quote,"original style unknown, now in K3 style"

Yep, it's K 0416 and is one of the cars for which the pre-war factory files are lost. These chassis numbers have been used on occasion to give an identity to a boy racer - so beware!
We have no photographic evidence that the chassis under this really is K 0416 so if the owner reads this, please send me one.
