The John Kidder Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the Member who in the committee’s opinion merits the award on the grounds of either a notable performance or a notable contribution to the Register during the year.

The 2020 recipient is Tim Sharp who in addition to being a sparkling performer in his PB was also of immeasurable help to the Register in dealing with organisational complications that arose at the back end of 2019 and early 2020. Thanks and congratulations, Tim!

Gentlemen

I am honoured and surprised. Dick rang me today to advise me of the award and I was taken aback. I am always happy to do what I can for the Register, to show the PB and to compete with it to raise the awareness of our superb cars.

I would wish now to know more about who John Kidder was and previous recipients of this award. Perchance this is something missing from our website? What other awards does the Register give and who are previous recipients?
