Having rummaged through my pipes, I fear the one you are after is the one I do not have, but to be sure here is a photo of what I have that could be spared.

I have had other prior interest, however I will let you know ho this goes:
Re the pipes; the bottom two are the same; the rear head to sump pipe and should I believe fit an N as well as a P.
The top one looks similar to the middle drain pipe on a P but the bore of the pipe is smaller than on my P's. This can be seen in the photo. Holding it up against a P, the length and shape is OK so the pipe bore seems the only difference. I thus think it would fit an N but perhaps would not be correct.
I have no spare front pipe. |

the lower fixing studs are 38mm centre to centre
how ever, if you have interest in the pipes as they are. please
sell them.i will have to cut mine ( if you have one with a suitable end )
i am in no hurry & a correct one will eventually turn up

Top pipe is K/L rear drain... goes from o/s rear of head to side of block ... 1/2" 0.d. tube
Other 2 are P/N rear drain... go from rear face of head to side of block ... 5/8" dia tube .. the polished one looks like one of mine!
If anyone has a mangled pipe for Douglas I can rescue the ends and retube it to complete his engine. I have new castings in normal times but at present cannot get them from the foundry as they are in lockdown.
I can still do the pipes with nut/nipple ends.....or retube existing.....

Many thanks, useful information. I don't know where it came from as I have never had a K or L but I have had it for 50 odd years.
