Taff Hughes .... he does white metalling stuff in his workshop in Somerton near me...
he has a B6 (Wolsley/MG F) engine to do and wants to replace the alloy rods as some previous owner has marked them with saw cuts.......
Steel rods ex M and Minor etc would be best but he would appreciate any offers to help the owner out and not have a newly metalled engine go "bang".

Don't Ford 100E fit? I believe these are available with shell bearings these days...

Ford 100E are 1 5/8" Std not 1 1/2 " e93A are available with shell bearings 1 1/2" STD but they are slightly wider than the crank

Hi Guys,
many thanks... will put Taff in touch with Andy to start with.
Thought about various foreign rods but as the crank was good and a lot of 4 cylinder two bearing engines have modern billet crank and rods thought there must be a few! rods that have not been binned.
