Hi All

Just a reminder, I have started uploading images from the superb Silverstone weekend. Please send me any images from this or any other event for inclusion on the site, it takes a little time but hopefully worthwhile.

Happy Motoring

Robin

Hi Robin

Our Safety Fast! scribe Dick Morbey took loads of photos including one of the L types/drivers/passengers when they returned to the Triple-M car park following the parade laps.

Looking forward to seeing the photos - are you putting them on this forum?

Regards George

They're going onto the Events Section, there are many more to come, should get some more up later this week, work and engine building allowing.

Due to an opportune moment with the video camera, I have some superb footage of a certain well respected member of the MMM community making a "gross error of judgement" on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the News of the World was not interested, so I have not managed to capitalize on the situation!

I am sure the big screen can be arranged - is it wise however to warn the member in question?

Also seeing as it is most likely one of the "more senior" members is it not also likely that the indescretion could cause embarrasment?

Stuff it - its probably either your Dad or mine - do either of us need the aggro?

Regards David

PS - great to catch up with you at Silverstone see you again soon.
PPS - if it is me - put your running shoes on!
PPPS - if its anyone with a video camera of their own they will spend the rest of their time on earth chasing you for your indescretions!

Twasn't your or my Pa. The gentleman in question was just giving an excellent practical demonstration of the inferior handling characteristics of one type of MG midget, when compared to that of say a J2 (which obviously represented a quantum leap forward).

Yours - with tongue in cheek

Hi Robin and all,

Does 'starting to upload' indeed mean we can already see (some of) them? I've been trying ever since you posted the topic, but without any luck. The 'event/venue' option has never operated properly as far as I'm aware, but when I try the 'month/year' option, there's no June 2008.
Anybody else with this problem?

Thanks and regards,
Cathelijne Spoelstra

P.S. Robin, did you get the diff returned safely from Peter Hemmings?

Cathelijne,

There does appear to be a fault with the 'Month/Year' section of the picture page but you can access the pictures from the 'Event/Venue' section under 'Silverstone International Weekend 2008'.

Thank you for bringing the error to our attention.

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for that, but the event/venue option doesn't work either and indeed never has as far as I'm aware ...

Hi Robin

The FC&W photos are OK but no sign of Silverstone 2008? The only Silverstone photos are those of 2002.
