From time to time my browser requires me to sign in again but this looks to be rather different as the Forum cannot be seen without signing in.

I saw this once this afternoon as well Simon. I closed the screen down and opened the forum up from favourites and didn't see it again. From memory, it was a link to here on somewhere else when that Logon screen then popped up

If you get to the Forum via Favourites or Bookmarks, it’s fine as your browser has memorised the login details, but if you log out and simply try to view the Forum, you can’t. It is completely inaccessible. Personally, I’m all in favour of this and would like to see it extended to the vast collection of documents on the site. Not logged in? No can see!

That’s a shame, Nick, I rather liked it the way it was, i.e if you weren’t registered you had no access to view the Forum. That should definitely be added to the document sections.

I would suggest a different line of thought, Simon.
The reason I am here and now keeper of 2 MMM cars is finding this group, reading the forum help and guidance, as well as all the other information on the site. It gave me confidence to go ahead, buy, restore and maintain the cars.
A closed site would have passed me by.
