Luxembourg Cercle Triple-M Club
I'm told that the club formed in 1991, and it's first big event was in 1992 in Larochette.
I wonder if there's any photo's or reports from the event anywhere that anyone can share here.
For Completeness, over big events were : -
1992 Larochette 1995 Vianden 1998 Scheidgen 2001 Lipperscheid 2004 Clervaux 2012 Schengen 2014 Bourscheid Plage 2016 Hotel Bel Air near Echternach 2018 Beaufort 2020 Postponed to 2021 2021 Postponed.
I attended 2016's event
Many thanks in advance Colin

In 2004 The Early MG Society was invited to join the Cercle MMM Rally based in Clervaux, Luxembourg. Several "early M.Gs" made the round trip of approx. 1000 miles without mishap. Attached pictures show the gathering of cars at the start of a pretty wet and dismal first day of the Rally. I attended one or two other meetings, either with John Day in his F Magna or William Opie in his N Type. Great times and good memories.

There is a write-up and a few pictures of the 1992 event in the Triple-M Yearbook of that year.

...also the 1995 event in the 1995 Yearbook, and there are probably others as they were very popular events.

As Mike says they were very popular events, we did 3 of them and enjoyed them greatly. If you want photographs there are some on this website, in the much underused 'events' section of the photographs page.
The last one we did was 2007, three cars travelling from Yorkshire - Tony Margel's M type, Tony Hay's NA and my NB. About an hour after getting off the overnight boat in Zeebrugge we were driving along a long straight road. Ahead we could see 2 Police cars and hi-viz jackets at the roadside, we were pulled over. What was their first question?.... Are you travelling together? M + NA + NB in 2007. I could hear Poirot's grey cells spinning in his grave!

These events still attract good numbers, from various countries. Hopefully returning next year after being postponed in 2020 / 21
The first major European Event that led to the MG Car Club European Events of the Year was actually organised by MGCC Luxembourg and held in Luxembourg.
For a little country it has a lot going for it!!
