I have been in touch with the vendors who have supplied me with photos of the chassis stampings etc.

Previously the car was not known to have survived with one previous UK owner recorded as holding the original buff log book.

Magnificent car but doesn't look to have had much recent use? Isn't it fun, but rather mean, to look for imperfections in the otherwise perfect? I wonder why the fuel feed pipes have to be brought inside like that? Impressive fuel tank at 50 gallons. Would have been nice to have hidden that white junction box on the LH rear inside. Why that enormous sump to oil pump flexi pipe? Never mind, lovely car. Simon C.
