Hi Gordon, Have you considered asking someone with a lathe to machine one up for you? It is not a difficult job and as it would be made as a circular part and then split. You will have a surplus one to defray the cost with. The rubber collar takes up any loss of circularity on splitting the fabrication or, if a thin slitting saw has not been used, shims could be inserted if required.

Best of luck.

Hi Ted,

I may have a spare one of these. Give me a chance to locate and get a picture to you in a day or two.

Ladies and Gentlemen of this forum,
Many of us older forum members get confused with (modern) acronyms – ‘WTD’….????
1) ACRONYMS DICTIONARY:
WHAT DOES WTD MEAN?
WTD is an internet slang acronym used for what to do, as in 'what to do' about a situation or 'what to do' with the poster’s time.

2) Also = ‘Working Time Directive’.

Just a plea to use 'proper'/normal English – makes forum questions or answers much more readily understandable, please.

I too wondered what WTD meant and I thought I was missing something.
I am therefore in complete agreement with Bruce’s sentiments.

Hi Ted,

I haven't forgotten about you and I've at least located the one for my car but not the spare one I'm sure I have, or had (did I already sell it? I don't think so). I'll keep looking and will have more time this weekend to look.

Best regards,

John

Hi Ted,

Success at last. Here are a few pictures of the spare I have. It's the bronze (?) one on the left which was purchased from Sports & Vintage.

Please send me an email to jorolibb(at)aol.com replacing (at) with @ so we can work out details.

Best regards,

John
