I, doing business as Brittrix sell 26 different models of LED light boards. I have no problem listing a price on a single item, but it’s not practical to list all items we deal in. Postage also varies based on the destination. Best if people simply order from the web site (www.Brittrix.com)
Bruce Lew has identified one very good reason. Another is Traders sometimes advertise many items of which they only have one of each and for them trying to keep the list up to date might be too big a task along with trying to run their business. They also sell new items where the price may change during the life of the advertisement. Another reason we require a firm price on the Parts for Sale forum is so that sellers do not auction items. That would be a minefield for the Register. Nick
